On Thursday, in Geneva FIFA confirmed the approval of five men who would be contesting for the FIFA presidency in February.
These five men are: Prince Ali Al Hussein, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Jerome Champagne, Gianni Infantino and Tokyo Sexwale, these men have successfully under gone the FIIFA integrity test as reported by the AFP.
There is a clearing absence of the name of M. Platini whom many thought of as the favourite candidate to succeed the out-going President Sepp Blatter. The reason of the absence of the name was as a result of the 90-day suspension served on him by the FIFA’s ethics committee. Stated AFP.
